Uh, if bold means concentrate on, I'd say nah. Not Alabama, not Mississippi.

Louisiana instead of those 2. A series of caucuses in Missouri it looks like? Well that should be right up our alley. Just speak at the caucuses.

most caucuses in Missouri are 10am 3/17. There are some before and some after. Similar to Maine.

And THAT will be a problem for Ron Paul and his mostly young/college student support group.

Hmmmm...Kegs N Eggs for St. Patrick's Day or spend a couple hours at a boring caucus...which do YOU think college kids will choose!

Especially with it being on a Saturday. Between undergrad and grad school, my housemates and I LIVED for the years St. Patricks fell on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Though we got screwed when leap year made it jump from Friday to Sunday, so we missed a Saturday.

No amount of rallies are going to change this.

But fez...why aren't you highlighting the territories, which are his best (possibly only) shot at wins? The only one you highlighted is probably the one he has the least chance of winning since Romney got the governor's endorsement.

I see more wins for Santorum and Gingrich than Romney there. Maryland for Romney?

hmm, I missed the St Patrick's Day angle. Good catch.

I made these suggestions based on fundraising numbers in those states (which were within 3% for most states until now). There is minimal chance of winning these states (except for HI/WI) but there is a very good chance of getting 20+ percent in all of the bold states and the corresponding proportion in delegates. In the others, not so much (including LA and MO).

I hope he tries to focus on Illinois (not only because I live here) but because he has a very large base in Chicago that will get him a lot of votes.

He has a chance to get a solid amount of delegates if he tries. Romney will take the suburbs, Santorum will take the rural spots, Paul should focus on Chicago.

IL is at 11% in terms of fundraising. I do not disagree that he has a large number of supporters, but it might be hard to improve on those numbers as it is a populous state.

Hawaii.

He should take Mrs Paul on vacation and STAY there until the Caucus. He should spend half a million dollars in TV, Radio and Print.

But since he is in Kansas he's just going to lose all over the place.

Louisiana is interesting...believe they have a fairly convoluted system and that Paul almost won it in 2008?? This is the South so Newt could help splinter away the Santorum/Romney voters...definitely a state to keep an eye on.
