Spending Money On Google's AdWords

I would like to suggest spending money on Google's AdWords.
Can you imagine if we can spend one million on this so every person searching google/Yahoo for anything related to 2008 election that person can find Ron Paul on the top of every search.
Try now to search for Mitt Romney, Obama or any other candidate, you would find zero results of Ron Paul on this page.
In the same time if you search for Ron Paul you would find a link for Hillary Clinton.

The truth is that Ron Paul on the internet exists and does not exist at the same time. Because if we suppose that somebody is looking for some other candidate while he knows nothing about Ron Paul, this somebody will most likely ends up knowing nothing about Ron Paul because his search will bring zero results about him. unfortunate we sound like we dominate the internet but practically we do not and I think this step is very important toward truly dominating the internet.
We have to bring the attention of every person who is sitting on his chair and using the internet and let him or her know that there is somebody out there and is called Ron Paul.

So why this idea has not been adopted yet? You have sent it in December so why the campaign is wasting all this time, I have no idea. You should kept Bumping your topic until it gets some attention. I am very willing to donate for this project!
I think we should start doing something about it.

Thanks. I was confused because it sounded to me like that somebody can decide to monopolize a keyword by buying it. Which appears to be not right.

Anyone can bid on keywords... you may have to claim that you are not the official Paul campaign, however. You can bid according to location also, so you do not waste money on states that already voted.

There is something you might want to do if you want to avoid this. Do not use google's search while your Gmail is open. Google use this way to track your foot prints and send you alot of Ads which closest to your interests/searches. And it seems that Huck's campaign is funding google ads pretty well.
We should be dominators of the internet and this does not seem to be true in every aspect.
Its time to move in this direction.

There have been various threads about this. I Have been in Internet marketing for 7 years now. I did this for Iowa and NH and asked for chipins.

I have the account with keywords still online and ready to go. If there is an interest in paying for these you have to bump this and donate. It is about a hundred bucks a day per state. That is what Iowa and NH ran.

I targetted only viewers in those states and used a keyword lsit of thousands of words to spread the net and keep costs down.

My plan now is to do proportional Super Tuesday states now. Is this the best idea?
