Lot's of funny business happening during the Special Session right now:
Provisions in a medical cannabis bill pertaining to orange growing have no known source as no one wants to admit they came up with it (and refused to get rid of it): http://floridapolitics.com/archives/239663-whodunit-citrus-medical-marijuana
HB 5A, the bill that is set to probably pass and be signed by the Governor, is terrible: http://floridapolitics.com/archives/239712-house-beats-back-effort
Finally, the Senate President Joe Negron (R) is throwing a fit, saying that the Senate and it's interests aren't being represented in the negotiations over Education spending. This stems from the fact that Gov. Scott vetoed millions in special funds directed at major state universities that the Senate had been trying to get through the General Session: http://floridapolitics.com/archives/239750-session-verge-collapse-florida-gop-leaders-feud
Today, the "final" day of the Special Session will definitely be one to watch.
