It seems like Ron Paul is alone in his fight for the presidency.

All he has is the Constitution and a whole bunch of motivated, freedom loving citizens that want to see the underdog triumph. The underdog that believes what we all believe.

But I think that Ron Paul needs some "big names" behind him.

What does Colin Powell think about Ron Paul? You know?

I'm sure that Ron Paul has some support from the more noble inhabitants of D.C. but they are a bit shy about voicing their support.

Also, let's not project all of our hopes on just Ron Paul. He is just one man. He is the leader, but he needs some good generals behind him.

Dude, with all due respect, get real. Colin Powell is a stooge of the Eastern Liberal Establishment and the Council on Foreign Relations. Sure, his buddies made him look like a total idiot when he took the Bush administration's case to the UN. He's living a comfortable retirement and he's the last guy that would defend Ron Paul.

But let's take a guy that is a well known Libertarian.

Clint Eastwood? What does he think?

Someone interview him and get his opinion on Ron Paul.

That would be a boost for Dr. Paul... right?

Carlson and Buchanan are. McLaughlin might. Probably antiwar Republicans like Walter Jones, Jimmy Duncan, et al. Maybe some dissenting generals and CIA and ex-CIA people like Scheuer, Ritter, etc. There just aren't enough paleos and libertarians allowed by the establishment into the msm. People need to discover sites like chronicles, takimag, the american conservative, lewrockwell, antiwar.com, larison.org, conservativetimes.org, etc.
