If Romney wins overwhelmingly, the message would be that state Republicans are satisfied with their party’s presumptive nominee. But if Paul wins a large percentage of the vote plus delegates, the message would be that Republicans are not satisfied with Romney and/or that the cause of freedom and liberty still resonates in the hearts of South Dakotans.

We can win SD, but we need the resources to do it. Our goal is to get at least 400 people signed up that say they're going to the money bomb. That way if half of them, only donate $50 each we'll get the $20,000 we're needing.

We want to send out mailers to the Republicans with contested senate primaries b/c that will help OUR local candidates to turn out the Ron Paul vote, plus they're going to vote anyway. We also want to contact the people who've voted in 3 or 4 out of the last 4 primaries, since they're going to vote anyway.

If we can raise $30,000 we can do a couple more rounds of robo-calls to identify the Sanatorium and Gingrich supporters and send them issue cards contrasting Romney and Paul on the issues they care about. Most people around here that like Gingrich and Santorum like them because they think they're small government.

It all boils down to how much money we can raise. What I can tell you is that Money won't be waisted. Every 2-3 points is another Ron Paul delegate, and 1 less for Mitt Romney.

There'll be some more actual endorsements too.

South Dakota is THE MOST pro-life state in the union. Even most of the Democrats are pro-life. It would be deadly to Romney here.
