I'll probably give it away. My tastes in modern music run towards alternative stuff. But from now on I will throat punch anyone who says anything bad about her! I already texted my son and told him that her name will only be mentioned in reverential tones around me (but I said we don't have to listen to her music).

Look at her Facebook fans. I'm probably not her target demographic, but I think sh'es got a great voice, and actually have a couple of her CDs.

Good for her. Its weird but her 1st album was the last album I bought with my money and if you havent heard it, you should because just about every song in that title is a hit. I will definitetly check her out again. Ron Paul supporter or not, shes still a good role model to young girls and an awesome singer(voice).

Edit: On second though, I will buy one of her CD's. Yet another avenue I can help with the cause, by rewarding people such as Clarkson with my wallet. Which CD should I get? I know nothing about her music.

One day after she announced her support for Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul on Twitter, sales of pop singer Kelly Clarkson's most recent album were surging Friday on Amazon.com.

Sales of Clarkson's album Stronger shot up 442% between Thursday and Friday afternoon on Amazon (AMZN, Fortune 500), moving the album from #38 to #7 on Amazon's sales list.

People like you have forgotten Pearl Harbor. Even then, our defenses were not weak and we had superior firepower. If we laid down our arms, we would be destroyed by invasion in less than a decade. Funny how Liberals think themselves to be intellectuals. Not.

And is there peace when you have no firepower, surrounded by countries that do? Nice logic, but not one that will keep you alive long in this world. The good book never said to lay down your defenses and there are many instances in the Bible where righteous nations fought for their freedom against the wicked.
