Should Rand Paul attack Donald Trump when he asked what he thinks of him?

He could say"He certainly doesn't have the brains for medical school unlike myself"! Or his chances of supporting the Constitution are his same chances of him having the brains to go to Med school? He obviously can't see America's future which is why he needs to come to me for eye surgery"

If Trump is going to talk bold then Rand should take the gloves off as well.

When he does attack him if need be in the future, all he has to say is google Donald trump on guns, abortion, eminent domain, taxes, etc... It's that easy lol

Rand's strategy should be to focus on Liberty, not Donald.

End the wars on American Liberties: war on terrorism, drugs, poverty, etc. F- Trump.

Might as well. The only reason why Trump is surging in the polls is because of media exposure. Rand might as well get some too while at the same time ditching the wishy washy persona and standing out from the pack.

I don't think Rand can handle Trump. It's better to latch onto the Trump wave as opposed to being crushed by it. Anyway, I'd spend my energy going after Walker or Bush. Going after Trump is not going to win him anything, especially if Rand intervenes as the PC Police. Then it would really backfire.

Rand should call like he sees it!

And then Trump would go after Rand with some nasty barbs, reminding everyone why Rand is weak on immigration and other assorted foibles he's accumulated. There is no upside to go wrestle with Trump. Only negatives. Rand's only hope is that Trump creates a self-inflicted wound and then Rand could peel off his support. But direct confrontation in this type of turbulent voting climate? Hell no! Rand would be lumped together with all the GOP old bulls if he goes out of his way to torment Trump.

NO NO NO ... under no circumstances attack Donald Trump. Let Perry and Rubio take care of that.

How about, should Rand attack Bozo the Clown, The Three Stooges?

Anyone unsure of how party party stooges keep getting into office should review how Ron Paul was ignored and then lied about in 2008 and 2012. Even the doomed campaign of Ross Perot is educational. It has nothing to do with whether he gets in a Twitter war with a Reality TV star.

Rand needs to act Presidential. If you notice that twerp Bush, has completely stayed out of the fray. Rather he has his lap dogs Rubio, Christie and Perry on the attack. Follow the advice of Bush's multi million dollar handlers and let the dumb peeps attack Trump. Rand needs to be 125% professional and Presidential. I actually don't see much Rand and Trump would disagree with that would cause an unpleasant situation during the debate.

I don't want this being a repeat of Mitt Romney in 2012. Rand could then go on to say that Dinalds reaction proves his point that he can't see reality which is why he needs eye surgery.

Both Trump and Paul thought the invasion of Iraq was a bad idea. They both don't like the Fed's manipulation of the money supply. You would think they would craft a temporary truce to take on Bush's goons.

That's what I think. I don't really see a Trump/Paul problem at the debate. Chris Christie is the one going after Rand, on behalf of Bush. And I believe somehow FOX will manipulate so Christie is in.

Plus, didn't Trump give Rand a donation for his pro bono work? Why even go there?

No!!! If asked about Trump he should say I understand his appeal. The American people have been lied to for 29 years about the border and Trump has struck a nerve.

But the Rand who won in 2010 in different than Rand today. His first act after winning election was to introduce a bill to end birthright citizenship. In the past year he's rambled on about a pathway to citizenship for illegals which si very unpopular with the base of the Republican party. Back before the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire primary in 2008 the Ron Paul campaign was running TV ads blasting illegal immigration.

Rand you could have been a contender!!

I'll say it again, Rand trying to appease the establishment has hurt him.

He's taking votes away from Rand.

Rand is the one who left the populist vacuum for Trump to fill. He's the one at fault. You know how many posters in here told Rand to get on the ball months ago? Too many to count.
