Here we go again, idiots vandalizing small businesses and people's cars. And in SF, the vandals get a Police escort! No doubt to arrest any person who attempts to defend their own private property.

Protesters trash Mission District businesses, cars

Tuesday, May 1, 2012

(05-01) 12:05 PDT SAN FRANCISCO -- Broken glass littered several streets in San Francisco's Mission District after protesters vandalized cars and damaged more than 30 businesses Monday night.
...
Some business owners in the area said police hadn't done enough to head off the damage to their stores and restaurants, and one said officers even appeared to be "escorting" the vandals.
...
Some business owners said that given the extent of the damage, more vandals should have been arrested.

J.H. Kostelni of Farina restaurant on 18th Street said he had seen police cars at the front and the back of a group of about 30 people who threw paint and eggs at his windows and overturned his outdoor tables.

"It looked like police were escorting them," Kostelni said. "They didn't stop them."

We've lost our collective minds, and the whole world is watching.

Staged Vandalism. Why else would police offer them an escort? On May-Day of all days?

There's logically no other explanation, than staged/paid vandalism.

Multiple agendas at work, as usual. The vandals want the Police to overreact. Some of the Police want overtime and increased budgets. Escalation fits both groups desires.

The 99% don't want their property destroyed, but they are low on the list of priorities. Ironically, when the shtf, the 99% get it from both sides: the first priority of the Police becomes disarming innocent citizens, and the vandals and looters get almost free reign. (New Orleans post-Katrina and LA riots post-Rodney King/Police trial are examples).

Meanwhile across the Bay, protests are just getting warmed up.

Oakland May Day protest triggers arrests and tear gas

KTVU And Wires

An Occupy Oakland May Day protest reeled out of control Tuesday as police fired tear gas into the unruly crowd and made several arrests.

Protesters began gathering around 9 a.m. in downtown Oakland and took to the streets, blocking traffic on several streets as they marched. Around noon, several hundred protesters gathered in an intersection in front of City Hall where a confrontation with police began. In a matter minutes, tears gas was fired into the crowd as tension rose and riot-geared police began making arrests.

The Oakland disturbance came less than 24 hours after another demonstration left broken windows and damage behind in San Francisco’s Mission District.

The vandalism began shortly after 9 p.m. at the Mission Police Station at 17th and Valencia streets, according to police Capt. Robert Moser, who oversees the station.

Moser said the "event unfolded rather quickly" with more than 100 protesters traveling north on Valencia Street and causing destruction along the way.

Seventeen vehicles and more than 20 businesses were damaged, as well as the police station, where protesters smashed windows and splattered the building with paint.

The protesters eventually dispersed near 12th and Folsom streets, and only one person was arrested, a male who was cited for vehicle code violations and resisting arrest and later released, Moser said.

Rush Jones, who lives in the neighborhood, said he was frustrated with the protesters.

"There's a fine line between vandalism and having a cause," Jones said. "I don't think they achieved anything at all."

Reminds me of the video where a "protestor" goes back behind police lines.

Obvious agent provocation.

These "may day protestors" are fucking idiots, and I'm even saying that as a self-proclaimed former socialist and member of Revleft.

Let me get this straight. They think capitalism failed (when they're uneducated about WHY we have equality problems in society; Uncontrolled government!), so they want justice. So they want a "proletariat"/communist revolution. So they start getting aggressive to the cops with fishing poles with donuts (yes, they're doing that in Quebec.) So the cops get pissed, and they suppress the protestors. They call cop brutality, so they react by getting violent, and throwing rocks. In the skirmish, many windows get destroyed. So troublemakers use the riot as a cover to rob business and cars. So stupid hipster teens get wild. So they start wrecklessly destroying tax-payer funded objects like fire hydrants. So the proletariat pays higher taxes to repair the mess.

The Judical system has already authorized "DEADLY FORCE" when the SHTF. They will be backed up by a flood of propaganda on all mediums of communications.

There are very few besides ourselves, that realizes the lies and propaganda by government... now at all levels.

I'm hearing Oakland has cracked down hard on OWS

Well, in SF, protestors often get the "right of way". The Police might have a car in front and in back. They are generally there to protect protestors. They have enough officers to take care of anyone who goes after the protestors, like a common citizen or business owner that gets pissed.

They do not have enough people to do anything when the protestors become violent, and they generally retreat when that happens. It's a numbers game. They can take out a single shopkeeper, but they can't (won't) do anything to the crowd without massive reinforcements and some bureaucratic planning and permission (CYA).

Live violence in SF right now on TV. Idiot throwing bricks from roof, hitting people on the ground. Police ready to shoot him with bean bags or rubber bullets.

The building was taken over and occupied today and is being called a commune right now.

Cop hater.

Honestly, I feel bad for some cops. I don't think a number of them enjoy being surrounded by crazy hipsters and socialist-wannabes who don't hesitate to destroy things. It's actually a very scary thing to do as a cop. Anyone who enjoys being riot police has something wrong with them.

Cop hater.

Playing out on live TV right now. Asshat on roof (black mask) obviously attempting to start a war that others will suffer and lose (many protestors disavowing this violence, but they will be on the receiving end soon). Every cop in the area getting overtime.

New asshat on different roof threw a pole (spear), Police firing rubber bullets, but real guns are now drawn, as the second attack was from the rear.

Have you ever actually been to an OWS protest?
