Today was the last day to file bills in the Texas legislature! We ended on a high note with our last bill receiving seventeen joint authors! SB 1864 protects our personal liberties by providing that a warrant must be issued before police can search your cell phone. Thanks to all my fellow Senators for your support for our bill! ‪#‎liberty‬

It passed the Senate unanimously. It just passed out of a House committee unanimously.
