Maybe this is a dumb question, but can someone tell me why in the world people wasted their time, gas, and money to drive to the polls and either: 1) vote for a democrat (that will not mean anything other than that of a beauty contest) and 2) vote undecided in the republican vote?

Why would you waste your time, stay at home and watch tv!

Bigger puzzle: Why in the hell would you vote undecided in the democrat primary? A poll that garners no delagates and these people cast a vote that would not elect anyone anyway? I do not get it?
