RP on Washington Post today

how petty!

here an idea, lets rail on the government that spends 30 billion a month of taxpayer money to fund an illegal war! what's that you say? there is a candidate who is involving his family in his campaign!??

STOP THE PRESSES!

I wonder how many paid family members Clinton, Obama, and McCain have? I wonder how much Ghouliana paid himself?

And they call him 'isolationist' again.

This tweaked me too. You would think by now they would know to differentiate between "isolationism" and "non-intervensionism" but nope. I also don't see why this is news worthy to begin with. He's simply paying his family members to do jobs (which btw all are qualified to do) that he would just hire out to other people anyway, and he probably even saved money doing it that way! I know that if I ever ran a campaign like that and had friends or family capable of doing the work I'd hire them.

Exactly!

And so would McLame, Hitlery and Osama . . .

Oh wait, they don't have any friends or family capable . . . :D

The man turns down public money, but let him use private money and he's suddenly evil.

Exactly. No mention on how he returns a portion of his yearly congressional office budget or refuses to participate in the pension plan.

EDIT: I think a huge side effect that has come from the revolution, at least for me, is the unveiling of the main stream media as pure garbage. I know things like Digg have been around for a while now, but until about 8 months ago when I started really paying attention, I had no idea how manipulative the media was. It's amazing and scary all at the same time.

I tell you

You guys take this type of press very well....
I read it and once again...I'm disgusted.

I need a chill pill I guess.

Surprised? Don't be

The Washington Post has had a presence at every Bilderberg Meeting since '54 and it wasn't until the late 90's that they even admitted the groups existence.

"We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years.
It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries."

-- David Rockefeller, Speaking at the June, 1991 Bilderberg meeting - Baden, Germany
