He's got such good ideas and record and inteligent grasp of everything that matters in todays politics that the only thing he should worry about are his PR issues.

Not focusing on that will result in a loss. Learn how Reagan/Clinton won and you'll it's almost the only thing that matters.

p.s.: and it's the last time I'll take the time and try to wake people up to this fact, cause if you are rather going to focus on a stupid money bomb instead of fixing how the voters who you actually have to convince to vote for Ron instead of McCain percieve Ron, you don't deserve a win.

It is true that some of his more radical ideas are irrevelant because every policy will be filtered through an elected congress.

If you believe America can work as intended, then you should believe that checks and balances prevents, or ahem should prevent, any tyrannical seize of power to implement laws without consent of the elected representatives.

This is an important point to make with people who say he has good ideas but is "too radical". What they mean I think is that they dont want all drugs legalized. They don't want to say this outright and have a confrontation with us, but I think this is a real elephant in the room that many of us are overlooking. Same can be said for pardoning all non-violent offenders, although he could do that without approval. It scares voters to think about a bunch of crackheads etc being released. It sounds like a crime wave. So please address this with checks and balances at every oppotunity, thanks=)

I think you're right. Ron Paul needs to be able to sell himself in order to win the average voter.

Money bombs pay for commercials to do just that. Commercials DO work...no candidate would spend millions on them if they didn't....many here may think they are cheesy, but it is fact they work.

We can not change how Ron Paul speaks to the people but we can control what we do. Make a point to call into talk radio shows and reframe the debate. Push people to move away from Neocons and back toward Conservatives. Make the Ron Paul foriegn policy simple for people because many Republicans feel that RP is weak by wanting to leave Iraq. Reframe this as he wants to place the national defense of the U.S. ahead of nation building. That he is strong on national defense and would secure our borders.

Good! We as supporters can work on how voters perceive Dr. Paul. However, WE don't have control over HQ, so posting this kind of stuff anywhere but in the Campaign Suggestion Box forum is a waste of everybody's time. Go canvas, or work on something the grassroots DOES have control over!!!

BS.

As long as Ron keeps selling him self as he does and as long as the HQ continues to produces BS ads like they have untill now, you are not going to see him win. The MSM painted him as:

-not electable
-fringe
-kooky
-conspiracy theorist
- . . .

All his and HQ's focus should be in countering that. Unless you saw that film where it's being descussed that the general public will always vote emotions over reason, you cannot posibly understand what I'm talking about. So i suggest you find it and watch it and do something about it.

I'll bump it one last time.

I posted here in hopes someone who has some kind of influence or say in what the HQ does sees it and wisens up and tells the HQ about it.

How do you know what my desired effect was?

What I wanted to achive with this thread is to wake up the people who think Ron still has a chance. He does not untill he and the HQ change the way his PR policies. And untill enough people won't wake up and presure the campaign to do that, nothing will change.
