A gathering of Republicans in Minneapolis Saturday will look at the future of the Liberty Movement within the Republican Party of Minnesota.

The "Liberty Forum" was planned before the election, organizers say, and will include many supporters of Ron Paul, the libertarian with a small l, whose supporters have made great inroads in the Minnesota GOP.

Much to the chagrin of establishment Republicans, the Paulites dominated the state's delegation to the RNC and cast 33 of Minnesota's 40 votes for Paul.

I'll definitely be awaiting the outcome of this and how they plan to prosper considering the est stuck the state party with a rope around its neck.

the name isn't super unique but the free state project's been hosting annual liberty forums for years now

feb 2013 we're hosting tom woods and a bunch of others http://freestateproject.org/libertyforum

Yeah, New Hampshire is much better known for it's Liberty Forum than everywhere else. However, it is a great name. Other folks frequently borrow from the FSP. Even CT had a Liberty Forum but I think it only lasted 1 year.

Anyway, NH has had a Liberty Forum since to 2006 or 2007. If you check Wikpedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberty_forum or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/LibertyForum the New Hampshire Liberty Forum is the default Liberty Forum. Feel free to call it the New Hampshire Liberty Forum or just the Liberty Forum, pretty much everyone thinks of it when they think of Liberty Forum, anyway.

Of course, this event is called the Republican Liberty Forum. I think they know better than to take the name of a much more well known event.
