I though my bulletpoints were well thought-out. I believe Newt would decline a Paul challenge. Otherwise, why would he challenge Huntsman after Romney declined? Regardless, I have faith in our Candidate to expose Newt for what he is if they were to go toe to toe.......

I would agree with that. I think it's crucial that Paul articulate his 9/11 position. He needs to provide the source materials that verify his message that FP played a part in the planning and execution of 9/11. The die-hard RP supporters know what he means, but I think the message is lost to mainstream America......

Actually, I'd say most would agree Ron got owned on the McVeigh thing, come on guys, we have to understand what Ron is and what he's not, and he's not a debater, he's not afraid of a debate certainly, but it is not his strong point, Gingrich, although he says a bunch of BS, it BS people love to hear and he is very quick on his feet whereas Ron need time to think about things and ends up stuttering alot, I think this would really hurt Ron personally.

Why should Ron challenge Newt Gingrich of all people when he has been challenging every American in this country to rethink the role of government for the last 4 years, 30+ if you really dig in and get to know the good doctor's message.

challenging Newt to anything acts like Newt has some kind of credibility that Ron Paul wants to challenge. Newt does not. How about Ron Paul challenge Mitt Romney to a one on one debate?

That would be the debate that will really show the contrast between Conservative principles and liberal biases.

It was unfortunate that RCP cut off the videotape after Newt's response and willfully omitted Ron's counter-response. Not many heard the part about having a police state, which is something I'm sure Newt would approve of.
