It doesn't take much brains to realize that spacex has done more, with less money than NASA has in 10 years. The orbiter program was a step backward. After Apollo we decide to waste money and build a POS that can't even get to the moon anymore.

Ron's position, like always would be to allow private industry to handle it.
SpaceX and private space flight IS the US Space program now, especially after Soyuz screwed the pooch on the last ISS trip.
Obama has been supportive on private space flight and thats the only thing I can say I like about him....however it would be far better without NASA and their regulations and oversight....
