It is quite intriguing to me how widespread the recent mantra is that "Rand can't get the nomination because he is at odds with the GOP" when in fact what the talking heads are referring to is only a few hundred bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. As if somehow the legislature picks the GOP nominee. Rand is on to this with his many recent "outside the beltway" retorts.

If Ron was to be one of the many unfortunate people will suffer from dementia, it would already be kicking in. My guess is that Ron will be extremely sharp well into his 90's and continue to make important commentary. Ron Paul seems like a good candidate to go beyond 100 years. Hope he does. Look at Farrakhan busting his butt at age 82. A lot of these people just don't slow down very much.
