Ron Paul on Bill Moyers (video & download) 1/4/08

Thats journalism. Good questions, polite, given time to respond. Allowed to sway the conversation in a different direction slightly. Nice!

This was a very good, concise interview where Dr. Paul got a fair shake.

wtf is up with you msm?

excellent journalism, a must see. He articulates on his ideas like i havent really ever heard before.

It's amazing to me that here we have Bill Moyers on PBS, a network that Dr Paul would cut-off, and he gives him the most fair shake. Yes, he asked him about some of the controversial views of his followers and his detractors, but he gave Ron a chance to answer and didn't inject his own opinion.

The entire interview in excellent quality will be available on the Ron Paul Video Podcast within the hour. Just uploading it now.

the PBS website quality seems fine to me.

Bill Moyers has long had a good reputation for his interviews and his programs. It rarely comes up, but he attended seminary and would likely represent a gentler Christianity like Ron Paul's position and message. I get really disgusted when I hear people talk about George Bush being a Christian. The guy is lies, deceives, retaliates, is aggressive, and does not represent justice...he is a fraud. Ron Paul's "just war" doctrine is legitimate and should be a guideline for Americans whenever we go to fight. We would be in very few battles if we followed this doctrine.

Moyers allows the true Ron Paul to come forth. His interview does not court or pander to Paul, but allows his views to be expressed in more detail than the typical interview. I know that Moyers disagrees with Paul on some of the issues, but he held the journalistic high ground and let his intelligent viewers make a decision based on the discourse rather than unfair attacks or sound bites. Kudos to Mr. Moyers. Watch the video and be sure and leave a comment. We need to see more of this kind of journalism!

What a great interview. I think Bill Moyers would've liked to pick Dr Paul's brain for a lot longer. And I could've listen to him for a lot longer too.
I think I'll just donate right now.
