Which is to say Romney has 40%, Gingrich and Santorum each have 14% and Ron has 12 %, but the last three are within the margin of error. Obviously, not all three will be around by the time New Jersey votes.

Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX), a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, is a top-tier candidate in New Jersey. According to the latest Quinnipiac poll of likely voters in the New Jersey Republican Presidential Primary, Mr. Paul sits in second along with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum.

Mr. Paul pulled in 12 percent of the votes, while Mr. Gingrich and Mr. Santorum garnered 14 percent of the votes each. However, taking into consideration the margin of error, the battle for second place is still undecided. Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney easily won the New Jersey poll with 40 percent of the votes. Governor Rick Perry (R-TX) earned 2 percent of the votes to be defeated by ex-Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman.

NJ is the last vote in the country, right?

The race will probably be decided by then.

I hope the NJ folks will keep plugging along. Get Ron's message out, get people to register Republican, and get him more delegates. I believe it's a winner-take-all state, so I would love a nice surprise if the establishments writes off states like these.

Ron wont do well in NJ (my state) or in NY. Too many Christie Dough Boy zombie followers and Giuliani lovers who think he 'saved NY on 911' when weeks before that he was practicing drills by FEMA to prepare for it

By the time NJ votes it will just be Paul and Romney. And I can tell you things in NJ are changing big time; total difference from 2008. We are here, and we will be doing everything we can to contest 1st Place in NJ for Paul.

Gloucester County, about 15min out of Philly. But I am a college senior at the moment going to school about 5min outside of Trenton so I'm seeing a good sampling of people from around the state.

Living in Central Jersey I have mostly seen Obummer supporters and a few Ron Paul supporters. Thats it.

Burlington County NJ here, and the southern part of NJ leans a little more towards Paul, but sadly the north has the population density.

Yea, been down that way in Gloucester before, lots of farms down that way, and in the much of the southern counties.

As for Mercer County, yea, im familiar with that county more than i ever wanted to be lmao. CRAF and Jonsefarm and the DOC Central Office were fun stops :D I am responsible for many cop car light bars and radios installed lmao

I graduated from Union High!

Heh wow...yea, i never made it to UH, i went to Burnett Jr High up until 8th grade and moved to Linden for a few years :( Good times back then, i was an 80s child :D From what some people tell me, Union aint what it used to be ...sigh

Hey Bro, New Jersey is my state too and there may be a lot of neonuts around here but guess what else we have? We have more registered Independent voters than Democrat and Republican COMBINED so if Ron Paul were to get the nomination he could easily take New Jersey
