Ron Paul is conducting a one man intervention on an addicted America!

There is only one way to describe America. A nation addicted to a warfare state, a welfare state and endless spending. Ron Paul is threatening to take away the drugs and the addicts are lashing out. They might not even know why they are lashing out. They just know instinctively that their drug supply is being threatened. They will do anything to keep it flowing. They will tell any lie and distort any fact to get their way. They do not want to sober up. But here is the choice: sober up or wait until you hit rock bottom. Our job is to convince enough people that sobering up is the better option. Addicts are notorious for clouding the issues. They will distract, change the subject, muddy the waters, come up with excuses or do whatever they can to get off the subject of sobriety. We need to stick to the issue. We are bankrupt and Ron Paul is the only one we can trust to execute the needed solution. When people go to the polls they are not going to vote on foreign policy. They are going to vote on their pocketbooks. Keep bringing the conversation back to that. Don't let the addicts dictate the conversation. Spending, spending, spending. Always come back to spending.
