Ron Paul HQ should put up a Ron Paul Billboard in Times Square

The Slogan will say" Ron Paul: A chance to restore the Constitution" and then all the tourists going through NYC will see it.

Far too expensive. Far too narrow (only NYC). The focus should be to grow at the grassroots. Save the big money for TV commercials much much later in the game IMHO.

3. Everybody contribute to HQ and encourage others to conrtribute

Whatever money HQ spends at this time is best spent on their central HQ infrastructure, IMHO. Renting enough office space, manning the phones. etc. That is more than enough to keep them busy....

Ron Paul needs to blitz Fox News with ads

If Ron can wake up some of the brainwashed masses, that's a good enough reason to send him a campaign donation right there!

I'd suggest ads that point out WHY he is right on foreign policy and why the rest of the neo-con establishment is WRONG, without naming anyone in particular.

I don't think Ron Paul needs ads YET.

Already the campaign is growing like wildfire at the grassroots. His meetup group membership is growing by 10% every three DAYS!!! Growing 17 times faster than the second in line which is Obama. Growing 100 or more times faster than Hillary.

It is spreading like wildfire all by itself.

First stage:
Gain momentum

ONLY when they have huge grassroots and HUGE amounts of money donated to them should they start spending on national TV IMHO. Now is not the time.

I definitely think he needs to increase his campaign HQ staff, but beyond that, he needs to have coordinators in one heck of a lot of states. There are a lot of grassroots volunteers that could be better utilized with a little more coordination and direction.

I don't know what the age breakdown looks like for his current supporters, but from what I've seen, it tends to lean towards the younger side. It's absolutely wonderful to have the younger crowd, but it's the older folks that have all the bucks. We need to bring them in if we want to see his campaign fund blast off. He's going to need all the money he can get for advertisement.

Cute idea, but I don't know that it's worth the cost to hit a target demographic of likely libertarian-minded voters. The main problem we have with advertising is that our best demographics to hit are outside of the largest population centers, I think.

The prohibitive cost isn't in paying the volunteers, but paying for materials and set-up. Folks working independently might be able to pull it off with enough money between them. But Times Square is a really tough place to do stuff.

Off-topic: Have you seen how huge the NY state Constitution is? In the 1960s they basically had something like a Night of Long Knives for the old Constitution and put in what we have today.

You have to make a clear distinction between New York State and New York City. As is usually the case, folks outside the city are more conservative and a greater percentage are Republican.

You're absolutely right about the city though. I was born and raised here. The first time I moved out to live in another state it was like entering another country! We had moved to Florida and I remember the first thing that struck me was the fact that it was so easy to get a gun. All you needed was a license. Coming from NY with its draconian gun laws, I thought I was dreaming. The first thing I did was buy several guns. I did this for just one reason...because I could! It was a wonderful feeling to truly be free! It was a great three years. Then I sold all the guns, we came back to NY and the dream was over.

Everyone needs to consider the fact that there are two, and possibly three New Yorkers running for President. Clinton, Giuliani and now Bloomberg. Each one is worse than the other. If any of those three get in the White House, it'll be NYC on a national level.
