Ron Paul is gaining more and more attention every day! The problem is that the media still has the upper hand on how they want to portray Dr. Paul. I think Ron Paul needs to combat this problem with a strategic marketing plan.

The Baltimore Sun ran a piece today where it was highlighted that if Ron Paul won there would be "no more Department of Education. No more Federal Reserve Bank. No more Medicare or Medicaid. No more membership in the United Nations or NATO. No more federal drug laws. And, no more U.S. troops in Iraq -- or anywhere else on foreign soil." Source.

What it fails to mention is why these are NOT good for America.

I would love to see a TV or radio ad address these points. It can feature Ron Paul looking at a camera and saying.

"I am sure that you have heard that a Ron Paul administration will abandon those on Social Security, that I will take away medicare and Medicaid from those who need it most, and that I do not support "Education". That is simply not the case. I am the only candidate who offers you a choice, a solid plan. To review my plan and my vision for America please visit RonPaul2008.com/facts"

Obviously at RonPaul2008.com/facts the site can address the Myth vs. Facts of what a Ron Paul administration would offer. We can cut the media off before they try to smear him anymore. I have heard over and over how he will eliminate the Dept. of Education. Well the FACTS are that the DOE has destroyed local school with No Child Left Behind and that it doesn't address the needs of students at the local level. Once people understand the FACTS, Ron Paul can win!

Also, Ron can run spin off ads that highlight the facts that he has a plan for Social Security, the Economy, etc.

The ads can be for SS can be similar. Ron Paul talking to the camera, "The pundits would have you believe that overnight I would eliminate Social Security leaving people on the street. That is simply wrong. My plan for America is the only plan that can continue to support those on the program, as well as give others the choice to decide how they would like to enjoy retirement. Learn more about my plan at RonPaul2008.com/socialsecurity"

I am sure you can see where this is going. He can do this in an ad for almost any issue! It's time Ron Paul addresses the Myth vs Facts now! Tell America why the UN is bad. Tell America why NATO is bad. If you don't inform them, why would they vote for you? I hope some can pass this on to the campaign. Failure to do this, could cost millions of votes! PS: I would like to see a Facts vs Myths" button on the homepage of the site. Let everyone who is visiting his site know the TRUTH!

i think this is a great idea. I have no idea who you would need to talk to to make this happen, but it seems like it could be effective.
