Ron Paul - Democrat?

Maybe Ron is really the front runner for both the Democratic and Republican nominee. hehe

A friend of mine who supports John Edwards claimed Ron has more in common with the Democrat line than Republican-Get out of Iraq, restore America's reputation with other nations, change our trade agreements-NAFTA, reduce power of executive branch, stop executive signing statements- all the things John Edwards stands for. The difference is John Edwards wants to give us socialism and a fistful of corrupt government

John Edwards doesn't really believe in getting out of Iraq. At least he didn't a few years ago when he was in the Senate. When the Authorization to use force against Iraq came up for a vote he voted YEA. Ron Paul voted NAY. When asked whether he would commit to getting all the troops out by 2013, Edwards said, "I cannot make that committment." Ron Paul said he would get them out as soon as possible. Who do you trust more to do those other things like repeal NAFTA or reduce the increasing power of the executive branch? Is Edwards really against those things or is he just saying he's against them because Bush is in power and Bill/Hillary put NAFTA into effect?

Democrat?
Small government, strong national defense, and upholding the constitution, in my experience, has not been the Democratic platform.
