Reflecting on Romney vs. Obama, I offer this popcorn "thinking". For the sake of the long-term, and for one reason only, it might be better if O. were elected as that would hasten the demise of the Republican Party and perhaps resulting in its reformation to the pro-Constitution party it once was: i.e., the party of Coolidge, Robert Alphonso Taft, and Goldwater-Reagan. Romney is a combination of Bushies I & II, Dole, McCain, and other pseudos Republicans all of whom drained the party of princple and energy.
The election of another one of those fakirs could insure an outcome much worse than another four years of Obama, an event that might well pave the way for real reform and not the marginal (if one may say) “reform” those mountebanks would foist.
