Does anyone else sense that the GOP is truly scrambling and probably asked Romney to bow out to "unite" the party sooner and combat the unity of the Democrats?? Anyone??
The GOP "leaders" think that knocking off Romney will somehow reverse the fact that Democrats have received TWICE the number of voters - EVEN IN STATES WHERE NO DELEGATES WERE HANDED OUT FOR THEM.
The ONLY person that can combat the Dems is Ron Paul, and yet the GOP remains on their course to destruction...one of the biggest divisive issues is the war which becomes moot in a contest b/t RP & Obama/Hilary!
To stay different though, they will push McCain to the finish...they will push for Romney or Huckabee as the VP more than likely...they will brush aside the Ron Paul revolution (temporarily)...and they will lose in November.
Whether Ron Paul stays in the GOP race (unlikely now that Romney is done so soon) or he runs under the Libertarian banner (still possible I guess), he has started a wildfire in this country and I expect it will grow in the coming years...and for that, I thank him!
