That line cracked me up. The dude lost to Obama ffs.

Fans of Mitt Romney will be happy to hear what his longtime friend has to say.

"I know exactly what Mitt's going to do," Kem Gardner, a real estate developer who was instrumental in Romney’s role in the 2002 Winter Olympics, told KSL News. "I think over the next few months, a lot of things will happen."

Spencer Zwick, however, said the decision is personal for Romney and won’t be depend on how any other Republican is doing.

"I don't believe Mitt Romney is going to make a decision to run or not based on who's doing well or who's not," said Zwick, who has been called Romney’s second son and raised $1 billion for him in 2012.

"I hope he does. So do many others. That doesn't mean he will. But there are many people who are hopeful," Zwick added. "Mitt Romney is too much of a patriot to just concede the presidency to the Democrats."

Gardner had similar thoughts as Zwick: “If it’s Ted Cruz that the candidate, he’s in. If it’s Jeb Bush, he’s probably not.”

Romney, who ran and lost the Republican nomination in 2008 and was the GOP nominee in 2012 who lost to President Obama, is “not ruling it out, and he’s not ruling it in,” Gardner said.

According to a Zogby Analytics poll released Christmas Day, Bush remained the choice of conservatives, while Romney was the establishment pick. However, there was no obvious pick for the Republican 2016 presidential pick as the field remains wide open.

It seems like the narrative on his entire purpose for running could be based on "3rd times a charm" this is even if Clinton is who he ends up going against. If Romney isn't just another name thrown out there to throw off polls and he is really considering it...this must be taken into consideration as well.
