Keynesian: Rome and the Great Depression

Pretty good.

A more interesting comparison (IMHO) is the collapse of the Yuan Dynasty in China. They had a giant statist bureaucracy, fiat money, and hegemonic dominance to the point of being militarily unassailable. Sound familiar? Their money collapsed several times, leaving vast swaths of the nation without food or supplies. They also didn't allow any individuals to own gold while within their borders (their paper money could be traded for gold at the border).

Keynesian: Rome and the Great Depression

Thread title should be changed to:

Keynesian = Rome and the Great Depression

All STATIST/FIAT/DEBT/MILITARISTIC... based governments, eventually come to an END. It's ashame that the People, not the government, suffer the most.
