Rolling Stone Needs Letters....

That Rolling Stone article was written from a point of view that is foreign to me. I'll leave it at that.:D

Ya know I'm not into all this esoteric crap. But last night I had a dream that Thomas Jefferson's ghost was hanging out with RP in a smoke filled bar, and jefferson was trashed. He was guzzeling a giant bottle of wine and He told ron something to the effect of "do the leg work, and then I'll take it from there" with a big sheepish grin on his face. Was kinda weird. Maybe I am an RP addict.

I wrote a comment, not sure if it made it on ...

I always enjoy a good hit piece on a very bad person. I mean, these guys are like Orcs. You /should/ applaud when they get beheaded.

Ron Paul is Gandalf, trying to herd along a tiny constituency that just might, maybe, somewhere somehow, save this tattered Republic.

Meantime, somebody has to keep smashing Orcs. Go go, RollingStone.

Badass

The only other Rolling Stone mention of Ron Paul I can think of was the last month's issue commenting on the first debate. They said something to the effect of, "The minor candidate Ron Paul's only contribution was a condemnation of the possibility of a Hillary Clinton Presidency."

But I guess they'll pay some attention now.

And getting rid of the IRS, and getting rid of all these departments, and not going to war, and .....

Dude, that dream fucking RULES.

Lisa: No, George Washington. I won’t let you down.
Bart: pfft - even in your dreams you're square

Man, I'm getting tired of the misconception that non-interventionism is isolationism. People keep repeating this over and over...

On the difference between Isolationism and Non-interventionism: "Isolationism is about what you want to do with yourself, Non-interventionism is about what you want to do with other people."

I just finished reading the Giuliani article in RS

I had also read the previous mention about the debates in that other issue of RS. Their treatment of RP in this latest issue seems vague to me. I couldn't tell whether they like him or not. It seems slightly dismissive. "Hanoi Jane...Terrorist sympathizer"???? Was that just a tongue-in-cheek reference? Dunno. The 'isolationist' spin maddens me, too. I guess RS believes that we should be 'spreading democracy' and the American way of life? At least I don't have a subscription...
I think that Ron Paul is the antidote to the years of Neo-conservatism and Neo-liberalism that we've been subjected to as a nation. I think that he is like the Buddha, pointing to the "Middle Way", and I hope this ideology catches on, before it is too late.
