A self-declared independent voter (but seemingly geared toward Ron Paul) attended a Rick Santorum event and asked what the reasoning was for Santorum choosing to vote for big government programs like Medicare Part D, No Child Left Behind, and five debt ceiling increases (which allowed government to borrow and spend more money).

In response and obviously backed into a corner given that no answer could be portrayed as conservative, Rick Santorum told the voter to just vote for Ron Paul then.

WOW! If I heard him correctly he said: "Then vote for Ron Paul, that's what you should do."

First Rush Limbaugh saying it, now Santorum himself! LOL! WOW!!!!!

...what... is.. this strange unnatural feeling... I'm.. in agreement with Santorum ..on.. something

..."This must be what going mad feels like" :p

On a less fanciful note, we should be able to use this :)

Nice. When was this taped?

If those suits nearby are secret service, then we know it's very recent.....

Limiting the size and scope of the Federal government is not of interest to Rick Santorum. He simply told the truth. If you want smaller Federal government, less spending and lower taxes, vote Ron Paul.

Wow.

I feel Rick just isn't giving it his all. It's like him even pretending is just too hard to do anymore.

As heavenlyboy34 posted the other day:

"The illusion of freedom [in America] will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater." Shame this just happened now. If this was earlier in the election cycle than I would suggest this get made into a campaign video pronto.

Haha. I thought Ron's conservative voting record was "pathetic"? ;)

This video is beautiful. A PAC should pay to promote it.
