The last few weeks a lot of new supports have come on board, many of these newbies will be soft Ron Paul supporters.

A noticable a number of new posts have starting cropping up in situations where "my freinds/relations have xyz position on Dr Paul", what can I tell/show them?

It's become increasing obvious it's difficult to locate easy resources for Dr Pauls position, something that is now necessary to give these people both to learn but also defend Dr Pauls position as many false attacks are coming up.

I read the sticky thread *** New to Ron Paul? *** Start here. but find it rather unhelpful, it's like - go read the offical website or a book.

What I suggest is that the a list of issues are made and the best resource for each one located, then some site or at least a thread here on the forum.

the revolution: a manifesto, is probably the best place to start if you want to learn about Dr. Paul

http://www.amazon.com/Revolution-Ma...=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1324221903&sr=1-1

(not an aff. link)

You've clearly missed the point completely. Please delete or edit your post.
New and soft voters don't want a book an hour video a collection of unsorted information. What they want is a fast solution to the claim of a someone who for example wrote on there facebook wall.

I'm new enough to remember when I was "brand new."
I was brought to Dr. Paul by YouTube video and it was hard to separate truth from fiction.
Once I joined RonPaul2012.com, it was months before I learned of this forum.
By then, I was definitely on Dr. Paul's team, but weak in arguing points with bloggers and such.
I started to "cut and paste" documents and collected information from subjects here.
I have the documents by subject, with answers.
I end up saying/typing the same responses over and over anyway -- cut and paste makes it easy.
I'm learning as I copy from others. I have a pretty good arsenal built!
It would be great to have a "library" of topics and within each one, there would be statements, references, video etc.

All we need is ORGANIZATION by subject and the supporters can fill it with info/response -- errors deleted and such.
But it can't be in the forum -- needs to be a "stand alone" LIBRARY-thing that is always available.

PS Ron Paul supporters, please forgive my "cut and paste" plagiarism! LOL You have helped me immensely!

Here's a "cut and paste" I made when Dr. Paul said that Backmann hates Muslims/gays: (as an example -- this is only about 1/4 the info):

Did you know a Jew currently serves in Iran's parliment? His name is Maurice Motamed.
Jews have held ministerial positions in Iran as well. Reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=Rn4ZX99Fbxs#t=0s
Did you know Iran has the largest JEWISH minority of ALL islamic countries? -- 25,000
Did you know that 300,000 Christians live in Iran?
This article is from a Jewish website http://www.sephardicstudies.org/iran.html

What else didn't you know about Iran? -- Short video showing US/Iran history

Bachmann fails fact-checks when it comes to Iran (to promote fear/war?):

Bachmann said "Iran has threatened a nuclear attack against Israel and the US" PolitiFactCheck saus FALSE.
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...e-bachmann-says-iran-has-threatended-launch-/

Bachmann said I.A.E.A. says “literally Iran is within just months of being able to obtain that weapon,” -- when it did NOT say that:

Don't forget Dr. Paul's latest book, Liberty Defined. The book is a series of short essays by Dr. Paul on 50 issues and where he stands on each one, in detail.

It is a *FANTASTIC* resource if someone asks, "Where does Ron Paul stand on......."

Read his book "The Revolution" and refer them to it and others. I was a luke warm supporter but that book really opened me up to how just fake most Republicans are when it comes to truly being a conservative. Another good place to refer them to is ronpaul2012.com website where it lists many of his issues. So many people blogging are outright lying about Paul's positions. I saw a post on a Human Events (Newton Leroy Gingrich's newsletter) article that Ron Paul supports amnesty for illegals. Nothing could be further from the truth. Many are even posting that Ron Paul is weak on being anti-abortion. And we all know that the media's hoax that Ron Paul's foreign policy is isolationism is complete BS. It's the exact opposite. Ron Paul is about spreading liberty and freedom around the world by first acting like it here at home. He doesn't support dropping bombs, killing millions of innocent people which in turn creates the terrorism and hatred of America that feeds the industrial military complex and the police state here i.e. bigger government and the destruction of the 4th Amendment. Wake up America! See the bigger picture that is right in front of your face.

you mean a thread where you can go to where it has all his points with a few of his youtubes showing his stance in his own words, correct? I was just thinking the same thing. Rather than having to look for it, and go to different links, you're looking for a one stop shop.

I suggest "Liberty Defined". Yes I know its a book. But its a book made up of short 2-5 page essays on 50 different subjects ranging from abortion to Zionism, all arranged in alphabetical order. Its like a Ron Paul Encyclopedia, except not as dense as an encyclopedia but rather straightforward and easy to comprehend. And while weblinks are always good, having the man's own words and explanations at your fingertips is best.

Here: http://danbeaulieu.blogspot.com/2011/11/understanding-ron-paul.html is a good website for one-stop quick Ron Paul answers.

This is a YouTube link to a speech by Dr. Robert Pape, one of the foremost experts on suicide terrorism talking about how suicide terrorism isn't because the terrorists hate our freedoms but is a response to overt military action against their homelands by US military forces and says that this means the US Middle East wars then actually increase terrorism, no diminish it, JUST as Dr. Ron Paul says: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4HnIyClHEM

And as for Iran, here is a post that I found that lays out why we shouldn't be afraid of Iran fairly well:

We have NO REASON to be afraid of Iran. What are we scared of? Death? Are we afraid of Iran because we believe they will kill us? Invade the US? Launch tons of nukes and blow up our Wal-Marts?

First of all, since when did we become a nation of fearful lambs? We are Americans and should never act out foolishly and shout provocations from on our heels as we cower in fear at the thought of a nuclear Iran.

Secondly, Iran has a misfit navy of very few vessels that are all second hand and outdated. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_Republic_of_Iran_Navy.. )

Also, Iran has no long range intercontinental ballistic missiles. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Fo...ians_of_the_Islamic_Revolution#Missile_forces ) They couldn't deliver a missile to the US if they wanted to. Unless their navy were sitting right in the Gulf of Mexico. Do you think the Iranian misfit navy would be allowed to get to the gulf without being smothered by our HUMONGOUS and overpowering navy? No chance. They would be obliterated.

And then there's this. Iran is surrounded by hundreds of nukes. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel_and_weapons_of_mass_destruction#Nuclear_weapons ) Israel, who has around 300 nukes, would drop the hammer on them in a second if they EVER launched a missle. Iran may be led by a kooky government, but they are not a suicidal country. Another reason why Israel can take care of themselves from now on.

Also, They can't even refine enough gasoline for themselves. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Iranian_Oil_Refining_and_Distribution_Company#Fuel_imports) They couldn't fuel a naval assault.

Plus, WE MADE THIS MESS! We assisted in overthrowing a democratically elected Prime Minister (Mohammad Mosaddegh) to install the authoritarian Shah (Mohammad-Reza Shah Pahlavi) in the 1953 coup d'etat. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1953_Iranian_coup_d'état ) His tyrannical rule is what was overthrown in, and what triggered, the Iranian Revolution which opened the doors for Islamic insurgents all over the middle east. Particularly in its early years, it triggered enormous enthusiasm and redoubled opposition to western intervention and influence. Islamist insurgents rose in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria and Lebanon. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iranian_Revolution#Impact )

Bottom line is, DON'T BE SCARED! Iran is not the "imminent threat" that it is being made out to be by the MSM. THEY DON'T HAVE A NUKE! It is war propaganda to get the people to blindly follow into ANOTHER occupation so that big money military contracts can continue to be doled out to the corporations that have entangled themselves in the money making war machine. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_profiteering#In_the_United_States) They don't want it to stop, so it is in their best interest to ensure you don't want it to stop either!

With my vote for Ron Paul, I will be voting for freedom, honesty, values, peace, sound money, fiscal discipline, an end to the unnecessary wars and most importantly, a better country for my future children. I want to give him a better nation, stripped of it's fear, extravagance and foolish over-extension of force/power.
