I started reading End The Fed again recently, largely because the first time I read through it, things didn't connect for me. I didn't understand it well. I missed a lot of details about Ron, and overall, kinda just glanced through.

Now, I'm feeling a lot more well-connected. I'm in Chapter 6 (The Gold Commission), and a quote really struck me. It was when Ron Paul and Ronald Reagan were on Marine One, and Ron had wanted to talk about Gold. The two were talking, and Reagan said "no great nation that has abandoned the gold standard has remained a great nation." It struck me because some things finally began to make sense about Reagan, and why he was so opposed to the Federal Reserve.

Anyways, I thought I'd just share this. Back to my reading.
