Report: Norma McCorvey of Roe v. Wade has died

By Daniel Chaitin (@danielchaitin7) • 2/18/17 1:09 PM

The woman who became "Jane Roe" in the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court case where abortion was declared a constitutional right has died, according to a report.

Norma McCorvey died Feb. 18 at the age of 69 due to a heart ailment at an assisted-living facility in Katy, Texas, the Washington Post reported Saturday. The Post said the death was confirmed by journalist Joshua Prager, who is writing a book on Roe v. Wade.

Lawyers for McCorvey, who wanted to get out of an unwanted pregnancy, filed a suit with a Texas federal district court in 1970. They used the alias "Jane Roe" for McCorvey.

The case went all the way to the Supreme Court, and on Jan. 22, 1973, the Supreme Court ruled, 7-2, that abortion was a right protected by the Constitution.

She spent a lot of her last years doing pro-life commercials

But McCorvey, then a mother of two, never ended up having an abortion. She gave birth to the baby in question, her daughter Melissa and later gave her up for adoption.

Wow, I did not know this story. Never knew that she never had an abortion. Guess the libs in the media mostly neglected to talk about that.

I wonder how the MSM will spin this one?

Obviously fake news. Military dumped her body in the ocean years ago after Seal Team 6 invaded her house. This commercial was done by a CIA affiliated crisis actor to dupe the Jesus lovers.

Actually, the lawyers used McCorvey as the basis for Roe v Wade. She never had anything to do with it. She never gave a deposition or testimony, and never had an abortion.

She became a follower of Jesus about 20 years ago.

I wonder how the social conservatives will spin this one.

Hmm, let me think about it.

She took money from the left and did what they said. She took money from the right and did what they said.

How will the right spin this one... hmmmmm

Actually, she was approached by the pro-abortion folks, who asked her to be “Roe.” She never testified, and never aborted the baby.

The bottom line is that the whole decision was based on a lie, and should be thrown out and every law based on the decision should be automatically repealed.

And now, in the ongoing saga of Norma McCorvey, it appears that while alive she went with whatever collectivist camp was willing to give her the better deal. But on her deathbed, she effectively thought the whole matter was a choice for the individual to make rather than something to be dictated:

I wonder how the social conservatives will spin this one. Must be a deep fake video; a conspiracy I tell ya!

I can't help but think of Sylvester McMonkey McBean, of Dr. Suess fame, who had machines for both removing and installing "Stars Upon Thars" … working both sides to the advantage of self.
Typical liberal lies:

Hey @dannno, did I call it or what?

OK activists … now that you have the officially sanctioned spin - be sure to run with it. Never let the opportunity for a good conspiracy theory go to waste.
You are the activist repeating the officially sanctioned spin.

Well, to the best of my knowledge, she never took money from the pro-choice crowd to be an advocate

She did tell me that she was doing a documentary with some British producers and that they were paying her.

Womp womp.
