Rep. Kerry Bentivolio Facebook page is NOW UP!!!! LIKE AND SHARE!!!!

As he said, he's not really a Ron Paul person, so I'm not really a Kerry Bentivolio person.

He'll earn promotion time from me when he starts voting in-line with Ron Paul's platform.

Out of curiosity, where did you hear this? First interview I ever heard Kerry give he self-identified as a "Ron Paul Republican".

Probably referring to this.

"I'm really a Ronald Reagan Republican — I'm not really a Ron Paul person. I respect Ron Paul a great deal," said Bentivolio, who has libertarian leanings just like the retired Texas congressman who ran for president last year.

I think it strange he'd say that considering he actively campaigned for the Good Doctor and attempted to be a delegate for him. Not to mention being personally endorsed by Ron Paul and have a very similar philosophy. It may simply be that most men of his age self-identify as "Ronald Reagan Republicans" without really knowing what that means (since it's misused and evolved so much).

As others have said, in the end it will come down to voting rather than rhetoric.

Yeah, but didn't he get a bunch of funding for being a Ron Paul Republican? I think it comes down to more than just this, but acting like Ron has the plague isn't exactly the loyalty that inspires.

Here people like Braun and others are courting us and promising to pick up Ron's work and giving tributes on the House floor....

Some are treating this like it is the absolute determiner, and for me, it isn't. However, others are treating it like we shouldn't even consider it noteworthy, and I guess I don't agree with that, either.

True, unquestioned loyalty is just as bad as unjustified skepticism. There isn't much body of work with Bentivolio yet, so time will tell. I still remain hopeful.

Is he going to explain all his votes on his Facebook page like Amash does?

He had promised to do so when he campaigned and reiterated that point when I spoke with him after the Boehner vote. He's still getting his operation up-and-running so it might take some time, but we'll have to wait and see.
