I happened to catch some of the Fo News morning show, with Maria Bartiromo Steinberg. She had Mike Pompeo on as a guest. Mike, Trump's Secretary of State replacement to Rex Tillerson, was going on about the Afghanistan withdrawal and Iran being a problem that the Arab States should be rallied against militarily, along with Israel, of course, but the most newsworthy revelations have to do with new book coming out on Feb 8th by David Friedman, Trump's Ambassador to Israel.

In leaks to the press, and many news articles in both Israel and the United States, Friedman reveals insight to the inner workings that were kept secret by the Trump Administration, such as the McMaster and Tillerson firings. Namely, that they were fired because they weren't hawkish enough against Iran, did not approve of shifting the US Embassy to Jerusalem, recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital, Golan Heights, and the intentional collapse of talks with the Palestinian authority. It was not long after, that the Israelis launched their offensive against Gaza and we all saw the violence that took place in 2019.

Evidently, Tillerson was not Zionist enough for Trump (or, Trump's new needs), or Trump's handlers. He was presented to the media as "inexperienced", and "an outsider"... well, now we know why Trump fired him, pushed out National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster also (who was too dovish w/Iran), and brought in the heavily Zionist, necon all-star team, being Mike Pompeo, John Bolton, and Jared Kushner.

There are numerous articles, and there will be more once the full book is available this week. What does it mean? It could mean that Trump's initial impetus was to have a more even-handed approach to the Middle East. After all, why did he hire Tillerson and McMaster in the first place, only to fire them, and replace them with the above?

Why did Trump shift so heavily, and is there any connection between this and the obviously pre-arranged "imprisonment" and "suicide" of Israeli spy Jeffrey Epstein, a long-time Trump friend, his partner Ghislaine Maxwell, and the release of Jonathan Pollard, plus all the events of the latter part of Trump years, like that violence in Israel, provocations against Iran in the Persian Gulf, and the unprovoked, criminal Israeli/American assassination of Qasem Soleimani?

Whatever anyone thinks they believe, something important occurred, and this book sheds some light on the topic.
