If he cares about the movement.. run for senate or governor in 2019. If not, the resign from senate and lose the nomination. What is your opinion.

6 months from a large amount of Ron Paul supporters ready to caucus in Iowa.. It was announced yesterday that the Kentucky Caucus would be taking place on March 5th allowing Rand to run for both president and senate if need be. What information do you have suggesting Rand quit? Makes absolutely no sense

LOL, OK, you convinced me.

What I mean is that this is probably the worst time for a liberty candidate and that Rand has the least inspiring background compared to his father, Massie or Amash.

And just who is a better candidate?

This not 2012 or 2008. Their is a more hostile mood towards to libertarians views than previous elections. The Establishment can easily prop of Walker or Kasich in order to win the election. Also, Rand is not running the most inspiring campaign.

You could have made that same case for all three times Ron ran for president. Worst time all three times. It wasn't the timing of the country that sparked the Ron Paul Revolution, it was the constant picking at dismissing of a guy that was actually making sense and was standing on principal.

Na.. I don't think so Wilf. Did you hear the crowd just last night cheer Rand over Christie?.. It sounds like Liberty has just as much of a chance now than ever. Just look at the differences between 2008 and 2012.. I don't know about you man, but I was inspired last night. Rand has a great shot to win Iowa and NH. If Rand wins those, its game over. That is all that matters.

Well 1988, was not the best election that Ron ran and both 2008/2012 had the anti-war efforts pushing up suport.

I would not count on it now, wait for the polls.

Rand has a very inspiring background.

No I guess, than I not from the States.

Sadly we need to have a liberty candidate on stage. Regardless if the country is ready. Play the long game. Get the Amashs and Massies elected. And if Rand can get re-elected to the Senate, with Hillary as president. He would be the leading voice in the GOP against her.

Thats one of the suggestions that I mentioned.

Polls were terrible for Ron Wilf... Right up until the caucus. The moment they had to show Ron's support to protect their name. Rand will be fine and guess what.. last night he riled up that base. Did you not feel the blood boil when "GET A WARRANT!" happened? I am willing to wait until February when caucus night takes place. Rand will be there and I have a feeling so will our movement.

The public reactions is lukewarm.

I agree with you're long game view. I just don't agree Rand should quit. If he can still run for Senate, than stay in this race. He needs to keep the message in the mainstream's face.

Rand should absolutely not quit. We ought to expect the talking heads on tv and the radio to completely pretend like Rand doesn't exist nor say anything remotely positive about his appearance. This should be one of the main talking points we use when pushing Rand to others both in and out of the party along side his key issues that can turn this ship around. Trump is just there as a way to excite people into paying attention and thus more susceptible to being strung along to the media's game. Dude has a massive ego and loves the attention.
