Rand Paul Tea Party '15 Money Bomb - December 16th

Got in on this when it was at 188 stoked to see we broke 200 in 48hrs!!

I had just donated right before the debate,
but had to go in again for 20.16. It's an investment in my son's future.

Rand is the next best thing we can get to Ron. I believe Ron raised him right... I see the integrity of Ron over 30 yrs, and I see the same in rand it's a Paul quality.. I belive WE have a better chance getting rand, a Paul, elected than we do, and did with Ron. Rand is strongly grounded in his father's ideas. That's pretty clear. He really has a chance at this. I see how it could play out.

$20.16

To be perfectly honest, I'm not nearly as thrilled about supporting Rand as I was his father. However, I think merely having him on stage being a voice for liberty is worth at least a small donation.

+Rep & thank you.

I understand that not everyone feels the same enthusiasm right now... and I respect you for still recognizing that Rand is the only voice for liberty in the race and that supporting him for that alone is important. The debates are rough enough as is, I can't imagine how crazy they'd be without him there.

+Rep, and I agree.

I trust Ron and agree with him when he said:

While there may be a couple issues that they aren't exactly the same on, I believe that a Rand Paul presidency will be very close to what a Ron Paul presidency would have been.

Think of what Rand has fought to block in the Senate - drone use, domestic spying, war, spending bills, debt ceiling increases, etc. - and how as President he would actually be able to stop them.

Rand will be the greatest President for liberty since...

And I agree that Rand does have a realistic chance to win. I wouldn't have spent this much time and effort if I didn't fully believe that he can.

Thank you to everyone that has donated and promoted and helped reach the goal. After everything that was in the news before the debate I'm very happy and proud of what we were able to do.

I was lukewarm about Rand near the beginning, but he's really come around and there's no close second choice. I've been getting more positive feedback on the giant sticker on my car as of late (had someone wave a Ron Paul shirt at me a couple weeks ago) and some thumbs up this past week.

What's next? January 10?

Not sure yet.

But I don't think we're going to get involved with that one being talked about on the 10th.

Hopefully after a few days we'll have a better idea whether that one gains traction and people supporting it, or whether it looks like there will be a need for us to start one of our own for January.
