Rand Paul picks up another 25 endorsements

CONCORD – Presidential hopeful Rand Paul, R-Ky., announced 25 Republican and conservatives have endorsed his campaign in New Hampshire.

The endorsements come three days after 22 state lawmakers endorsed Paul when he visited New Hampshire on Monday.

Pam Manney of Goffstown, a former vice chair of the Republican State Committee, said she would work to expand the senator's base of support in the Granite State. In the announcement, she said, "rarely have I met an individual who better embodies New Hampshire's "Live Free Or Die" tradition."

Excellent, former candidates have good local connections.

No coincidence that this comes a day after Ted Cruz announced over 40 conservative activists, including former state reps and "activists" endorsed his campaign, which was clearly a response to Rand's 22 active state rep endorsements. A little back and forth going here...proving Rand and Cruz are going to pull from each other (or at least expect to).

The only name I recognize is Mark Warden. He's a former multi-term State Rep who chose not to run for re-election, not just some "losing candidate".

Endorsements are always good, and former candidates are really good because they have some lay of the land and connections.
