Senator Rand Paul will deliver the Reagan Forum on Friday, May 31, 2013 and will sign copies of his recent book, Government Bullies: How Everyday Americans are Being Harassed, Abused, and Imprisoned by the Feds (Publish Date: September 2012). Tickets are $55 per person, which include a dinner following the lecture. Books must be purchased at the Reagan Library’s Museum Store to receive signature. Books may be pre-purchased during the reservation process.
In Government Bullies, Senator Paul takes an in-depth look at the legislation that is trampling the rights of ordinary citizens, strangling their ability to conduct private, everyday activities without egregious government interference. Most importantly, he charts a direction out of this mess, and toward renewed freedom for all Americans. Dr. Rand Paul is the junior United States Senator for Kentucky. Rand has been a vocal advocate for term limits, a balanced-budget amendment, a Read the Bills Act, and an audit of the Federal Reserve, and is the son of former Republican Congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul of Texas.
The evening’s buffet dinner includes the following:
Braised boneless short ribs, broiled lemon tarragon chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetable risotto, grilled asparagus and zucchini, romaine salad, fresh baked bread, coffee, tea, water, wine, ice tea and dessert (dark chocolate ganache brownies, spiced apple streusel cheesecake, raspberry filled cookies).
