This is where we talk about how we are going to raise a million dollars for a giant blimp.

All these counties have local fairs and parades in the fall... Be a great time to tour the state from the air....

How bout a Rand Paul hotair balloon that you offer free rides in. They always had them at local fairs where I grew up and it wouldn't cost as much as a blimp.
 
A hot air balloon would be cool too, but I don't think it would have the same impact as a blimp. I guess it depends on how much money we could raise
 
Personally i think the idea of a blimp is nuts..

but a few of these transported to strategic places around the state couldnt be that expensive and would have the same net effect of getting Rands name out

I never liked that one could easily see the contrast between the rectangular banner and the blimp itself. I guess the colors weren't quite identical. Looked amateurish.

It would be a shame to invest in a blimp and be sabotaged with really bad weather, like in late '07 & early '08. Too bad Rand wasn't running in Nevada or Arizona.
 
We should do a state tour where the blimp follows Rand to each location / campaign event, sort of like the one ghey mason is about to do.
 
hah I can say that if Rand spent any of his campaign funds on renting a blimp, I would drive to KY and demand my donation back in person.

Forget the Rand Paul blimp and fly a "Trey Grayson was a Clinton delegate" blimp...or airplane banner

Hang Clinton around Grayson's neck and conservative Kentucky GOP will never vote for him.

If this race assumes a "civil tone" and becomes about "high taxes and spending", we'll lose again. ...People are simple minded.

You must find your opponents weak spot and squeeze relentlessly. If Grayson has to constantly explain why he supported Clinton...and why he is affilaited with left wing Aspen Humanist Society....he is toast.

Agreed. With the grassroots being the financiers, Rand could disavow any involvement if the establishmentarians tried to pull the 'negativity' card.
