Further he compares it to media attack calling him (Rand) a "liar" for saying he had a biology degree. More importantly he took the time in the same interview to compare Marco Rubio's foreign policy to that of Hillary Clinton and attacked both for being neocons and "diplomatic isolationists." That's how you win primaries. Get people back on the message where you are the clear winner. And with growing evidence that the neocon foreign policy is a disaster for all concerned, the Ron/Rand Paul message on foreign policy is a winning message.

i agree its a mountain out of a molehill

carson has much more important things like his flip flop on the 2A, his admittance to attempted murder of his friends, and trying to attack his mother with a hammer.

The second amendment flip flop is a problem. His having overcome a violent temper as a youth helps him. Anybody that doesn't understand that doesn't understand politics. Sorry, you just don't. Most people who are supporting Carson know about his story and knew about it for a long time. He became a best selling author writing about it. At speech after speech in front of loving crowds of conservative supporters he talks about it over and over again. It's a surprise to you I suppose because you weren't paying attention.

That said, the way Rand Paul wins is by him, and us, doing what he did in this video. Deflect smear campaign criticism against other candidates, tie his attacks into substantive issues and link those attacks to Hillary Clinton. For example here is how to attack Ben Carson on the second amendment. "Ben Carson believes that 2nd amendment rights should be restricted based on where you live or if you've been deemed 'crazy' and so does Hillary Clinton."

It's time for Rand Paul supporters to follow his lead on this and quit carrying the water for the liberal media.

jmdrake, I gotta say, you seem to be one of the few making sense on things. Sorry I can't rep you again.

These guys see Carson as a threat instead of an opportunity and just want to attack him on every little thing the press digs up. That's insane.

I'll take him to task on the 2nd Amendment, too, but this other "stuff" is just nonsense. And if Rand Paul supporters get caught up in it, then we are taking their bait and it will only hurt Paul's reputation in the end. Rand knows this as well. Good job for seeing through the BS.

If I were Rand, I would make Carson, Rubio, and the other neocons wear their support of the TPP like a millstone around the neck or a scarlet letter.

Carson's support for Obamatrade should be enough to sink him.

Media is making West Point scholarship claim the biggest issue but other candidates seem to focus more on Carson's other claims.
Almost no one is talking about where Carson stands on the issues... like civil liberties, gitmo, patriot act, drone wars, US funding for wars in mideast, national debt, US funding for Israel post WTC1/2/7 , 2nd coming, on going stabbing attacks in mideast etc.

If your theory is right, attacks like below on tempramemt of religiously healed Carson should further increase support for him within similarly religiously trained Christian evangelicals crowd.

Trump: Carson still suffers from 'pathological disease'

Ben Carson: I'm not going to expose former classmates 01:26
Washington (CNN)Donald Trump on Friday charged that Ben Carson still suffered from a "pathological disease" that hasn't left the retired neurosurgeon since he was a violent youth growing up in Detroit.

"When you suffer from a pathological disease, you're not really getting better unless you start taking pills or something," Trump told Fox News' Bill O'Reilly of Carson, who has described his childhood anger and temper as "pathological." "Do you think that's the right temperament to be president? I don't think so."

There's really only 1 person on here consistently making attack threads about Carson for stupid stuff, occasionally he gets others to join in, which is what he is here to do.

Exactly! Don't just tie the TPP around their necks, but tie them to Obama/Hillary. A commercial like "What does Obama and Hillary have in common with Carson, Rubio, Trump...(whoever else)? They support a trade deal that will destroy America's sovereignty and subject U.S. businesses to lawsuits in foreign courts. Do you want Chinese communists who use slave labor being able to tell American companies what to do?"

Maybe not that exact script but you get my drift. Rand needs to attack his opponents on policy that he can connect to Hillary/Obama. And he's starting to do just that. I'm expecting a good turn out in Iowa if he keeps that up.

Having a neocon foreign policy in America right now would be very troubling and since Justin had won the Canadian elections, getting to start up interventions well you Americans will be on your own.

Yeah, no offense, but I don't think the US is hanging on the endorsement of Canada for any of our interventions.

It's only a winning message if it actually wins.
