Rand going on Colbert's Late Show sometime soon

I like Colbert. Also a plus he said he would vote for Ron Paul in the past. However, im sure he has his orders and will follow them.

F'k Colbert. Anyone who would have Jeb Bush on his debut, smells to high heaven. I wouldn't watch Colbert clean the dog poop out of my back yard. It's bad enough having FOX News promote Jeb 24/7... Now we have a liberal democrat, globalist, doing the same thing.

He didn't 'promote' Jeb, he interviewed him at his expense..

can the clips be posted somewhere? if youtube does not allow there are dozens of alternatives now.

You are on fire twomp, multiple posts trashing Rand and using the race card against multiple posters. Can you at least explain how does not liking Colbert make one a "Communist racist"? LOL.

This is weird, I'm guessing this is the same Colbert from the Comedy Channel that is now on this new show? It's just the promos on the radio don't sound like him as I used to remember him. This is interesting as it seems he's playing a normal hype host at this point.

I mean, it's sort of expected that he'd be himself. If he were playing his character, there'd have been no point of the Colbert Report ending.

Cobert said that playing his "Colbert Report" character for 10 years got real tiresome, and that's understandable. If you never watched his old show, his character was a parody of the political pundit blowhard - like Bill O'Reilly. If you haven't seen Colbert on O'Reilly's show you should look it up on youtube - it's pretty hilarious.

On the Tonight Show he's going to drop the character and be himself. Whether or not that works we'll have to see, because he has never done it before. We need to give him a month or two to find his groove.

From what I've heard, it's not going to be your normal late night talk show with 2 celebrities, the latest scandal, and the newest band with a hit. Cobert says he wants to have more 'mature' and thoughtful guests including artists, world leaders, people that make history, etc (he's a history buff).

We'll see.

Not much of a difference between the character and himself, although the character was a bit funnier. That is if you do not find comedy that advances the cause of the progressives tiresome.

^The two posts above are incorrect^

He described it as being a narcissist Republican pundit on the old show, now he's just playing a narcissist tv show host in general.

He made fun of Rand, and a few of the other candidates and their merchandize stores last night - he took a jab at Rand, but at least he prominently displayed his merch in all of the montages and I'm glad he was included rather than excluded..

When you describe an entire race all 1 billion of them and lump them into 1 stereotype, you are being racist. I'm sorry you are too stupid to understand that. This is the real world, why don't you join us? Moron

You are delusional since where have I done that anywhere in this thread or my entire history of posting in this forum since 07. What you describe is the antithesis of my ideology but more importantly what does any of this have to do with Colbert?

It is just a TV show, get over it pal, not everyone is going to like what you like or have interest in Progressive TV programs.

I do not know whether to be honored or not that you went through all that effort of giving out 30+ reps just so you could give me three negatives in such a short period of time. Your a nutter, get help pal.
