I don't know if this is the usual liberals trolling stories about conservatives, but several of these online stories have supposed stand with Rand folks balking and jumping ship after hearing that He interacted with Cliven. I think its a crazy overreaction, but that's what these commentators usually do.

Here are a few of the stories.

How does someone coming to the event and asking a question turn into "Rand meets with..."?

The comments are fantastic. Makes the prospect of WW3 maybe not a bad thing. Maybe we do need a mass extinction event.

I started reading the comments at politico...ugh, the stupid, it hurts. I'm starting to feel like I'm on the wrong planet.

Rand should have had his security detail flesh out every and all accused racist on the premises before stepping inside. His refusal to do it is tantamount to arranging a 1 on 1 meeting with a Cliven Bundy.

Reading the comments should tell you how hard of a struggle Rand has ahead of him. The idiot voter seems to have increased in number and its is going to be very expensive and time confusing to win over.

This is the best thing Rand has done in weeks, even though it was done accidentally!

Lol, now you are supposed to know who's in the audience and not answer the questions of the 'outcasts' of society.

This comment just teared me up. :) So concerned about our heritage...

God conservatives are ignorant people. Why is it so hard for them to understand what the word "public" means in public lands. These lands have been and are still the birth right of all Americans. These are our lands on which we can explore and recreate. These are our lands where we can escape the cities and envision what America was once like. These lands are part of America's heritage and are part of our being.

This could be something to send to NewsBusters maybe, all these news outlets reporting Rand "meets" with Cliven Bundy, when all he did was answer a question from someone in the audience.

"Public land" near me means land where you can't use motorized vehicles as the signs clearly state so only people who want to walk through can enjoy them, but no one does. If there was water and fish then you could be sure there would be a "no fishing" sign. Maybe they should have a sign saying "you may pass through on foot, stand or turn, nothing else." Maybe another description of "Public Land" is "Land waiting for Harry Reid to take it".

I'm a years long card carrying NAACP member and registered Independent-; regardless of whether or not they endorse? her; I will vote for her. Oh and by the way many chapters have expressed support for Hillary- including mine .
Whatever she did in the election against Obama I forgive her.
And I don't give a d#mn about e-mails or (as tragic as it was) Benghazi.
I voted for the first AA/white man; now I will vote for the first woman

That's the problem. You ignored what they believe in on the sole reason that you wanted to see the first African American President in office. What you ended up with was Bush 3rd & 4th terms. Now you want to vote for Hillary because you want to see the first Woman President. You want to ignore that people died in Benghazi because she couldn't be bothered to read her emails. You want to ignore that she had an illegal email server & she unilaterally decided to give up the emails that she thought were relevant. (We know that she still has not revealed all of them). Nearly 70% of the population thinks she's untrustworthy and you want to vote for her just so you can see the first Woman President.

What a joke.

Boy, they sure got old Frank worked up with the 24-7-365 Faux Benghazi Panic. That's senior abuse. Hey Frank, did they ever tell you that the republicans who have held a dozen hearings on this, and issued reports that admit it's a big joke on the seniors, refused to hold a single congressional investigation into the 911 attacks your big hero Dumya was too stupid to prevent? Not a single hearing! Why weren't you all worked up about that? About 4,000 people died in that one, and you could care less.

1st) Four people died and ten were wounded in that faux Benghazi panic.

2nd) I'm not a senior.

3rd) I didn't vote for Bush.

4th) I was worked up about it & I did care that 4,000 people died needlessly for an undeclared war that was based on lies. I'm totally cool with Bush & Chaney being brought up on charges at the Hague.

Bush conducted 51 covert drone strikes in 4 years. Across Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia, the Obama administration has launched more than 390 drone strikes in the five years – eight times as many as were launched in the entire Bush presidency. These strikes have killed more than 2,400 people, at least 273 of them reportedly civilians. Obama was supposed to be the peace President.

Obama also has no problems spying on every American without a warrant, same as Hillary.
