I remember him joking about killing those musicians with predator drones. Hopefully, his jokes with the tea party candidates had a different tenor...

To put the best face on their side of it, Axelrod could have known instructions to that effect might have been in place, but Obama's debacle at the G20 could have taken up his immediate time, so it hasn't happened yet. Sometimes communication breakdowns aren't sinister.
