Rand @3.6% in Reuters 5 day Rolling poll

2+ point bump

I'm guessing Rand's bump in other polls will be a trickle effect

If you remove the filter for registered republicans it's 4.6%.

More than twice as much support from men than women.

Odd, I really seem to remember in early polls Rand actually did very well with women and even better than with men. Is my memory wrong or did something change ?

The polls aren't really supposed to make perfect sense. Its really hard to know what people actually think when a majority of them are low information and are guided in different directions every week by their television screens.

I have learned it is a mistake to try to apply logic and reason when trying to figure out why people answer the questions the way they do on these polls.

The media "proved" that Rand is hostile towards women (reporters), several months ago, if you believe what you see on TV.

If you filter for "Tea Party affiliation" Rand went from 2.7% on the 13th before the debate, to 6.8% after the debate.

He jumped ahead of Fiorina, Huckabee, Kasich, Christie and "wouldn't vote" to right behind Ben Carson... who is sliding.
