DeSantis isn't forcing the vaccine on anyone at all. He is simply saying that those most vulnerable to the virus should get the vaccine first, if they want it. This makes sense.

And also the fact that senior citizens are a larger than normal demographic in Florida make it an important constituency.

I personally , from a selfish point of view find Rand and Massie most valuable where they are right now as the voices of sanity . I would doubt Rand would even want to run . If he did though I would vote for him again in the primary and then against the dems as before .

Same here. The federal juggernaut is not going to be derailed by replacing the figurehead at its prow. (How's that for some mixed metaphors?)

If elections produce anything useful, it will be on a smaller, more localized and more tractable scale (which is how Rand and Massie got elected in the first place).

Yes, DeSantis and Noem are terrible. I don't even know what's going on here. They were both in Congress and we saw how they voted on federal issues. Now all of a sudden they are good because of one hot button issue?
