Going to keep it simple and pretty straight forward...

There is a lot of overspending domestically that dwarfs what we spend on Iraq.

For example almost 300 billion annually on welfare/unemployment as opposed to 170 billion spent on Iraq.

Now, I'm all for pulling out of Iraq right away for a number of reasons, but in terms of overspending only, is there a valid argument for making pulling out of Iraq a top priority when there's so much we could cut back on here?

Domestic welfare is the bigger drain and danger but 'soak the foreigners' (like 'soak the rich') is politically easier.
