Corona News Editors Weigh In: Observers have remarked that Canadian politicians may be more responsive to the public will than American ones because Canada uses hand-counted paper ballots in all elections, and it is difficult to cheat on a grand scale, by any side. Therefore, public opinion truly matters.

Quebec Premier François Legault says his government will not go ahead with a proposed tax on the unvaccinated, in order to protect “social cohesion” in the province.
