candidate for President in these states!
In California, we completed the paperwork only days before the election, and I am focusing on that right now. However, Maine also qualified Ron Paul as a certified write in candidate, and it would be great if people would start notifying ORGANIZERS of meetups of that as well, in case they don't know. The hope is that they will let their members know and their members will spread the word, etc.
Here is an email form for California notifications if you care to use it:
I am starting around the LA area, east to Nevada (San Bernardino) and West to the sea parallel to L.A. (Thousand Oaks etc) so if someone wants to start with a different region that would be terrific!
You will have to join meetup.com but you can use a throwaway email address to do that. (It will only let you notify 6 or 8 meetups per day.) You then put in a town in California to find the meetups for Ron Paul near that town and notify the largest. I would start with C4L/Ron Paul 2012 or /Ron Paul or tea party ones that come up rather than 'libertarian' which may be more GJ or RLC which may be more Romney, but that is just a suggestion. I am just assuming the organizers there might be less likely to pass on the information, and I could be wrong.
