[PRESS-RELEASE] Ron Paul: Left and the Right Demagogue Mosque, Islam

You know... I'm finding more and more grammatical errors in the statement every time I pass over it. Who on earth reviewed the text before publishing it worldwide?

Oh. Figures lol. I wonder if it's possible for them to "recall" it, fix it, and republish it. This is an important statement, and one that shouldn't be littered with minor errors that draw attention away from the message. They even let through the misspelled, "Islamaphobia," which means that they neglected to perform even the most basic spell-check.

Wow!

Go Ron!

Excuse my french, but Ron Paul is FUCKING AWESOME!

I don't know about you guys, but when I read that, I see massive fire in his belly. I always thought that the angriest I ever saw him at was either 1988 on the Morton Downey, Jr. show or "No!!! I take my marching orders from the Constitution!". That was until I saw him here in the excellent "Instruments of Tyranny" video on YouTube. Check out 8:28 to 8:45, immediately followed by Goldwater's most famous quote.

YouTube - Ron Paul 2012: Instruments of Tyranny

"The fact that so much attention has been given the mosque debate, raises the question of just why and driven by whom?

“In my opinion it has come from the neo-conservatives who demand continual war in the Middle East and Central Asia and are compelled to constantly justify it.

“They never miss a chance to use hatred toward Muslims to rally support for the ill conceived preventative wars. A select quote from soldiers from in Afghanistan and Iraq expressing concern over the mosque is pure propaganda and an affront to their bravery and sacrifice. - Ron Paul

Ron Paul is ABSOLUTELY calling the neo-conservatives out, and doing it brazenly. I feel like the language here is so strong, he's basically saying "Look, GOP, I will NOT put up with this crap anymore, and if you try your shenanigans, I just may upset the apple cart, consequences be damned!".

If the Independents already favored him 46% to Obama's 28%, I can't wait to see the new numbers come out.

I love this one:
“It is repeatedly said that 64% of the people, after listening to the political demagogues, don’t want the mosque to be built. What would we do if 75% of the people insist that no more Catholic churches be built in New York City? The point being is that majorities can become oppressors of minority rights as well as individual dictators. Statistics of support is irrelevant when it comes to the purpose of government in a free society—protecting liberty.

zing!!

The Ground Zero Mosque is just Manufactured Controversy, a distraction from the Real issues.

Definately. They knew about the plans for this mosque for well over a year. They just decided to start bringing it up now.

They just kept it on the backburner to use at a good time.

What an excellent statement by Ron Paul.

Having said that, I am disappointed that Rand fully got himself immersed in this controversy. Yes, I know he is trying to win, but when he gets elected I sure hope he doesn't act like some anti-Obama partisan hack.

Hehe I pasted this to some Neocon who added me to her mailing list. Let's see what she thinks.
