Kurt Bills, Republican candidate for US Senate, is willing to take him up on his challenge.
“Balancing the budget is the most important issue facing our country. I’m going to talk about it every day, 10 times a day,” said Bills.
Vice President Biden is the President of the US Senate, which has not passed a budget in over 1200 days.
“Look, it’s no surprise that Biden and the Democrats don’t want to talk about a balanced budget, because they don’t care about debt and deficits.
“Amy Klobuchar claimed to be appalled by the budget deficit when she ran for Senate in 2006. Since Klobuchar has been in office, the deficit has increased by 700%, and the debt by 85%. She has done absolutely nothing to pass a balanced budget, and has done everything to make a bad situation worse,” Bills said.
Biden is visiting Minnesota tomorrow. Bills says he is happy to discuss the importance of balancing the budget with him when he comes into town, and isn’t concerned about Biden’s threats of violence.
