We need to set up a Moneybomb for him or something. Endorsements from FreedomWorks, Club For Growth, or Senate Conservatives Fund can't hurt either.

Gingrey has the best name recognition based on where his districts have been drawn. He needs to be taken down in the metro-area. We could get after him for defending Akin's rape comments. Someone really good with video would have to help. It never caught fire on YouTube.

I created this on Word which I plan to print out:

• Voted for a national ID work database (E-Verify)
• Voted to reauthorize the Head Start Act, a federal education program
• Voted to create No Child Left Behind

Rep. Phil Gingrey

• Voted against preventing blanket NSA surveillance of phone records

• Voted against preventing funding for the illegal Libyan intervention
• Voted against ending illegal Patriot Act wiretaps

Do one for Handel too (if you can) while you're at it. She doesn't as much baggage, since she doesn't have a voting record. The NRA and GeorgiaCarry.org endorsed Deal over her in the 2010 Governor race. She was also attacked by social conservatives for her "gay friendly" stance and being involved in a gay rights organization, Komen.

"Deal has attacked Handel for not being a true conservative. Handel said she supports gun rights but does not own a gun herself, she is pro-life with exception of incest, rape or health of the mother concerns, and she donated to the Log Cabin Republicans, a lesbian and gay conservative organization."
http://www.examiner.com/article/nathan-deal-gets-the-nra-endorsement

"The problem for Handel is that she comes off sounding more like a political opportunist than purist, thanks to her campaigns a decade ago for Fulton County Commission. Back then, you see, Handel courted gay voters, sought endorsements from gay groups, and attended a gay election forum — though she has tried to distance herself from that history, with more and less plausible excuses." http://www.thegavoice.com/blog/politics/6280-gay-rights-flip-flopper-karen-handel-runs-for-us-senate

Yeah. The Kandel one will have to be separate because I can't go after her the same way.

I think I'll attack her moderate tone (as opposed to Paul, Cruz, Lee).

Paul Broun may have a well meaning heart, but I have zero confidence if he gets the nomination that he'll win the general election. He speaks off the cuff, and often he speaks too much in generalities. If you don't believe me, just type "Paul Broun" on YouTube, and take a look at which videos pop up as the "most relevant".

If that's just what's in the open source, you know the DNC has even more material ready to go if he wins.
And with a voting population that is majority women, and a woman running for the democrats w/ Romney supporter backing, I don't see how Paul pulls it off.

I'm sorry I just don't.

In a R+6 (I think) state ... in a second-term mid-term election of a Democrat President … in a strong GOP year … I think Paul Broun still pulls out the general, foot-in-mouth moment or not.

He does have to be careful of not ending up like Akin or Mourdock. Those guys pretty much had it in the bag if they didn't open their mouth so much about social issues. You could say the same with previous statements in the VA Gov race. Extreme government control over social issues just doesn't fly except in maybe a few regions.

The thing is, Broun does not support "extreme government control" over social issues, his personal views just get extrapolated to mean that.

The 50% cutoff will help as well. His Democrat opponent seems to be another Landrieu, Hagan, Pryor type red state sellout.

Indiana is not that conservative statewide Obama, Lugar and Evan Bayh have won the state. I think even Saxby is better than them. Missouri elected McCaskill twice.

Nunn looks to be to the left of Lugar and Bayh; and supports bombing Syria.

Karen Handel also seems to want to play some game where Republicans have done nothing to fix immigration. She opposes Boehner's plan. I assume she does not mean amnesty. I assume with some legislative JiuJitsu, Steve King and Paul Broun are going to get a bill passed 55 Senate Democrats, 15 McCainiacs and to be signed by Obama. The final bill will solve everything and not be amnesty.
Ted Cruz didnt stop amnesty. It was Steve King, Barletta, Bachmann, Gohmert, Brooks, Broun and Stockman undermining Boehner as soon as 2013 started.

Broun desperately needs additional help. In the most recent Georgia U.S. Senate poll, Broun is tied with Kingston for second and third. Getting Broun into a runoff is essential for victory.

Broun 10.9
Gardner .8
Gingrey 10.4
Grayson .5
Handel 10.2
Kingston 10.9
Perdue 12.7
undecided 42.7
Yu .9

The full results of the poll commissioned by liberal group Americans United for Change are here and put Nunn in the lead, but around the 3.9 percent margin for error. She leads Rep. Paul Broun, 42-41, Rep. Phil Gingrey, 45-41, former Secretary of State Karen Handel, 44-40, and Rep. Jack Kingston, 44-42.

She is in trouble if she only has 42% against Broun now. She needs 50% first time around or will lose the runoff.
